Pro-Span Expansion Repair Coupling repairs damaged 1-1/4 in. PVC pipe and requires a 1-1/4 in. Schedule 40 PVC coupling, sold separately. Solvent weld with PVC primer and glue to make a watertight connection. Works best for irrigation repair to PVC pipe used for outdoor sprinkler systems and plumbing subsurface mainlines; also, to install a ball valve or tee onto an existing line.
